With a key visual published on the official Twitter profile of the series, the release window for Don’t toy with me, Miss Nagatoro Season 2 has been officially revealed. The anime series will return over the next year with the subtitle “2nd Attack”.
After wowing the community in April 2021, the anime adaptation of Nanashi’s manga will make its return in 2023. Don’t toy with me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack will debut in January. In the first poster of the new Nagatoro series, we see the homonymous protagonist affectionately torment her senpai.
In the cast of season two, Sumire Uesaka and Daiki Yamashita have been confirmed as voice actors for Nagatoro and the senpai. Shinji Ushiro will direct the anime at the OLM animation studio. Taku Kishimoto will take care of the composition of the series, while Misaki Suzuki of the character designs.
The first anime season consists of twelve episodes, which adapt the manga series up to volume 6. The second season, “2nd Attack”, is supposed to keep the same runtime and will continue the events from volume 7 (chapter 47) onwards. Considering that 13 tankobons have been published at the moment, the new series could come to adapt them all. In Italy, Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san is published by J-POP Manga.
