Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal: trailer and release for the anime from the famous video game

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the JRPG Mana series, Square Enix got to work on the anime series Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal. The television anime adaptation based on the famous cult video game, will debut during the fall season.

A new promotional video of Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal has been released on the Warnes Bros. Japan YouTube channel. This, reveals the anime release windowOctober 2022, and premieres the opening theme song, “Tear of Will” by Saori Hayami.

In the clip, which follows the opening movie released at the time of the announcement of the Legend of Mana anime, viewers get to know the duo of main protagonists, Shiloh and Seraphina. To lend the voices to the aforementioned characters, will be respectively Nobunaga Shimazaki and Saori Hayami, who as we have seen will also take care of the opening.

The production of the anime is entrusted to Graphinica and Yokohama Animation Lab, the two studios that previously collaborated on the opening footage of the remastering of the video game Legend of Mana. Masato Jinbo, is credited as director and composition manager, Taro Ikegami of character designs based on the HACCAN originals and Yoko Shimomura as composer of the musicians.
