Naruto: A themed exhibit will celebrate the anime’s 20th anniversary

On October 3, 2002, a legend began on the Japanese television network TV Tokyo. That day, theanime adaptation Naruto, still one of the most loved by the public today. On the occasion of the upcoming 20th anniversary, a special event will be held.

Nearly twenty years ago, Japanese viewers made the acquaintance of a 12-year-old troublemaker with the I dream of becoming the head of my own village. Over time, things changed and Naruto grew, becoming not only the strongest shinobi ever, but also Konoha’s Seventh Hokage. In July, Naruto Shippuden Season 9 arrived on Crunchyroll with Italian subtitles.

In October, for the 20th anniversary of the airing of the very first episode of Naruto, a themed exhibition will be inaugurated, the first since 2015. Recently, moreover, Masashi Kishimoto has created a special illustration of Naruto in collaboration with Yahiko. The event, NARUTO THE GALLERYwas announced through a key visual in which we see the teenagers Naruto and Sasuke ready to compete.

At the exhibition, visitors will be able to admire illustrations taken from the anime, some of which will show the growth of the various protagonists, their ties, rivalries and the most exciting clashes. The NARUTO THE GALLERY event will be held, from 10 December 2022 to 31 January 2023, in Akiba_Square, in the UDX office in Akihabara.
