ONE PIECE: a cosplay of Nico Robin, the archaeologist created by Buttercup

25 years ago, at the end of July 1997, in Weekly Shonen Jump, the first chapter of ONE PIECE. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since that moment and Eiichiro Oda, albeit very calmly, has set up a plot that takes into account hundreds of characters, some of whom later joined the protagonist crew.

First Zoro entered, then Usopp, then Sanji, Nami and so on. In the Rotta Maggiore, the times of the ONE PIECE events have expanded and it was necessary to wait a few years before the entry of Nico Robin in the crew. That figure who was once an enemy, a member of Baroque Works, has since become one of the most important people in the manga thanks to her story and her skills. In fact, Nico Robin is an archaeologist who can read the Poneglyphs, the only element that can tell the story of a hundred years of emptiness and find the way to One Piece.

To date, Nico Robin is much more sociable than at the beginning, and he has shown it several times, taking to heart the fate of his teammates and the dream of his captain. Cosplayer Buttercup decided to give this to ONE PIECE fans as a gift Nico Robin cosplay, with the first post timeskip uniform. For the other woman in the crew, there’s this Nami cosplay instead.
