It’s been a long time since that summer of 1997, when Weekly Shonen Jump allowed Eiichiro Oda to publish the first chapter of his debut manga: ONE PIECE. It didn’t take much for the author and editorial staff to understand that they had a colossal in their hands, a success that has intensified and expanded throughout the world over the years.

To date there are many products on the series, from merchandising to the official ONE PIECE Magazine to much more. Now, however, with the long break of one month taken by Eiichiro Oda now over, the time has come start the last phase of ONE PIECE. For the occasion, the author left a message to his audience.

“When I was a kid, I had this thought: ‘I want to draw a manga where the ending is the most exciting part! I wonder if I’ll be able to!’ Now we’re almost done with the Wano story arc and all preparations are in place. It took me 25 years to reach this point, hahaha. But it’s still okay if you start reading from this point … From now on, this will be ONE PIECE! I will draw all the remaining mysteries of this world that I have hidden until now. It will be really interesting. Buckle up. Thank you all, I hope you will stay with me for a little while longer! “

Now the final saga is upon us and the ONE PIECE’s long career is coming to an end. Ready for the last trip?
