The more than 7.5 million copies of Beastars in circulation have allowed Paru Itagaki to achieve success and international fame. Among the fans of the author there is someone else equally famous. Let’s talk about Maneskinthe Italian rock band that is causing a sensation all over the world.

After having triumphed at the 71st Sanremo Festival and the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with their “Zitti e Buoni”, the Maneskin ventured into tour which led them to play in all the major countries of the world. Damiano, Ethan, Thomas and Victoria have also conquered the United States of America, coming to open the concert of The Rolling Stones in Las Vegas. After that, the Italian rock band made a stop in Japan.

Last month the Maneskins landed in the Land of the Rising Sun with their Loud Kids Tour. Once on Japanese soil, they had the opportunity to meet a person of whom Damiano is a great fan. However, this is not a Japanese musician, but rather a Paru Itagaki, the famous author of Beastars and Bota Bota.

To make up for the wait that separates him from the release of the final season of Beastars on Netflix, the singer Damiano was honored with a special artwork created by the mangaka. The illustration, found at the bottom of the article, shows Louis next to Damiano, Ethan next to the Wolf Legoshi, Thomas with Juno and Victoria next to Haru.
