A wave of anime films will arrive on Crunchyroll, but not only. There will be many series that will debut over the next few months, such as Sugar Apple Fairy Tail, which will be published on simulcast next year with the Japanese broadcast.

The announcement at Crunchyroll Expo 2022 was accompanied by a first promotional video and a poster that allow us to get to know the protagonists of the work. Sugar Apple Fairy Tail is set in a fantasy universe in which fairies are the object of merchandise and in bad relations with humans. In a journey fraught with dangers, however, a splendid friendship arises between the fairy Challe and Anne Halford that goes beyond the boundaries imposed by the hatred of society.

The staff of the anime series, in production at JC Staff, includes Youhei Suzuki as director, Seishi Minakami as series composer and Haruko Iizuka as character designer. Mikawa’s light novels ran from 2010 to 2015 and also inspired a manga adaptation.
